one more thing...

I love z gallerie.
that is all.

silver dollar spray in our bedroom--love it!

its official

my blog won an award.
for being the most boring blog ever.
second only to this one.

my blog reflects my life, in some ways.
joel was sick all weekend (and today, and probably tomorrow...)
you want a winning weekend?
how about a 4 hour essay final on a friday night, followed by a saturday night in the E.R. for joel's ear infection, and then the next two days stuck inside with no cable and why-did-we-rent-this? movies like "diary of a wimpy kid" and "bolt"

all I have to say is this: it will get better! we're going to white water in 2 weeks because we got free tickets. water park fun here we come! and this time we go swimming, joel will probably wear some hardcore earplugs to avoid another weekend-ruining ear infection like the one he has now.

my oh my

A friend of mine posted this video and it really made me sad, but also want to be a better driver. Its gruesome (don't say I didn't warn you..) but I think you would want to be a safer driver if you saw it. The clips from live road cameras are especially scary. Lets all be safe drivers, okay? Okay!

p.s. dear joel, you are included in this post for a reason. eh hem.

I love(d) the 90s.

Have you ever had a moment when you randomly remember something from your childhood? Last night I was in bed trying to fall asleep and the most random thing popped into my head. Guess what it was?
No, don't guess. You never will.

POGS.

Brian and I used to REALLY love our pogs. I didn't even remember that pogs was an actual game until Joel reminded me that you had to use a SLAMMER to win.

Do kids today even play with toys?! Maybe its because I was in the apple store yesterday and I was literally SURROUNDED by children playing with iphones and ipads, and then we went out to eat and I see kids on nintendos and computer games.
I'm only 21 but I already feel like a grandma when I say "back in my day we used to play with cardboard circles..."

Next on my list of toys that I am sentimental about: FURBY.
My sweet mom called every store around town probably every weekend until one Saturday, Target had these coveted little creepers.
Mine was "coco" and Brian's was a weird gray werewolf colored one. It was a match made in heaven.

I was very attached to my furby. I think Brian's furby eventually died when the battery acid came out of the case and it made very strange noises.

Its obviously a sign that I'm going to be a great mother someday because of my deep bond with coco.

And thanks, mom, for always making my toy dreams come true! I hope you still have those pogs and coco somewhere in the attic.
