Family update :)

My blog is so neglected! I guess I should have seen this coming. Sorry you guys!

Anyways, let me just say that having 3 under 3 is wonderful, exhausting, and hilarious all at once. Here is what we're up to:

Emsley:
Drama, drama, drama. This girl will melt down over something as small as a piece of chalk breaking in half. Or mommy taking a bite of her apple. Or Summer looking at her the wrong way. Emmy is also quite the talker these days! She will repeat almost everything we say (which is hilarious when she copies something like Joel saying "hey babe" to me) and she loves talking about everything. Especially bugs. There is nothing cooler than ants and "bees!!!" (aka: house flies) when you are 2. Anytime either girl sees a fly in our house, they scream "AHHH DA BEEE!!! DA BEE!!" Hahaha! Emsley is also very motherly with JJ. She always wants to help change his diaper, put his paci in, hug and kiss him, etc. She definitely loves her baby brother.
Copying mommy, all day every day.
Joel Jr:
This big bubba melts my heart. We had a rough start when he got home from the NICU and a few nights when Joel Sr. and I thought that he was the most difficult baby ever. It must have just been a phase because he no longer has his days and nights mixed up and he is on a great schedule now! He nurses like a champ all day long, every 2-3 hours, and then sleeps at night from about 11pm-5am and then goes back to sleep until about 8:30am. I love him more than I ever imagined I could love a sweet baby boy! He is my squishy cuddle bug.
Our not-so-little man ;)
Summer:
Still our sweetheart! Summer has the sweetest disposition. She is also growing more and more independent. It is the nicest treat when I am upstairs trying to put JJ to sleep and Emsley is at my feet whining and screaming, and I go downstairs to find Summer playing in her own world with her toys and watching a show. She can count to 5, and some days will count to 11! Summer was quick to figure out the word "no" and will nicely but firmly tell you "no" when she doesn't want something. And that is the end of that. No convincing this stubborn girl. She takes after her mama for sure. She is also a good eater and likes to make my life easier by not spitting out her food like her sister does.

Joel Sr:
Just passed the first of four sections of the CPA! Hallelujah! He is now 1/4 of a CPA! Hah. This test has been continually ruining our lives since 2011. Hopefully it will be over soon. Joel has also been playing a lot of golf and cooking dinner more often now that I don't have the time.

Sara:
Taking on way too many projects at once and still using the hot glue gun way more than a normal person should. (But seriously...is there anything that thing can't fix?!)

I'm going to upload some pictures and blog about our trip to Tennessee, stay posted!
